THIS MONUMENT IS ERECTED TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND TO PERPETUATE THE MEMORY OF THOSE WHO LEFT THE PARISH OF CASTLE GRESLEY AND LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 – 1919.

THEIR NAMES LIVE FOR EVERMORE.
